Frequently Asked Questions
What can we learn from the past?
These are the three most important lessons that history has taught us. First, it is up to you to make a difference in the world. Second, when you change how people live, you must ensure they're ready for it. Third, you can't change the past without changing the future.
First, there are two ways to make the world better. One is to fight for it; the other is to create it. It is easy to lose sight of why you started a fight in the first place when you are focusing on winning.
You cannot control what people think, but you can make sure they like the way you present them. If you want to persuade someone, you'll eventually fail. But if you set out to inspire someone to action, you'll succeed.
Every great movement began with someone who had an idea and decided that they would act on it. It doesn't matter if you're trying to create change or react to it. These are the rules that will help you make an impact.
The second lesson is the fact that we all have the power to make our lives better. We can either wait for our lives to happen to us, or we can choose to make them happen. This means we must decide what kind of life we want to lead. Do we wait for someone else to permit us to live? Or do you want to be in control of your destiny?
I think we're living a golden time right now. There is more opportunity than ever, which makes it exciting. It's exciting that people feel empowered and able to create their futures.
It can also cause problems. It's not easy to know what you want or how to get it. Therefore, it is important to identify what you want and then find a way.
Let's say, for instance, that you are looking to buy a home. You could sit back and hope someone gives you a gift certificate to Home Depot. You can also ask yourself: "What would my dream job be?" Then, look for a job that lets you do it. Finally, apply for financing.
Let's pretend you want to travel all over the globe. It's possible to ask, "Where do you want to travel?" The next step is to start saving money, research countries online, talk with friends, etc. And finally, you'd book a flight.
Let's say that you don't have a clear idea of what you want. In that case, you'd probably end up doing one of those things anyway. By asking yourself such questions, you increase the likelihood of getting what your heart desires. It may seem odd, but it works.
The third lesson is that you can always improve your future no matter what happens. It's easy. Our choices affect who and what we become.
It is important to take inspiration from past experiences, learn from mistakes and succeed until you are successful.
If you don't believe you have something to offer the world, you're already behind. You have to believe that you're better than you thought you were.
If you don't know where to begin, start with what you know. Start small and build from there. Consider what you have learned over the course of your life. What have you failed to do? What has been your greatest success? What were your greatest achievements?
Don't forget to remember that only you can limit your potential. No matter what others say, you are capable of doing anything you set your mind to.
Benjamin Franklin said, "Nothing will be successful unless you do."
How to Learn from the Mistakes and Victories of Human History.
You don't need to wait for history repeats itself. Learning from human history's mistakes doesn't take long. Just make sure you are not repeating them yourself!
It is important to learn from the past and to apply these lessons to your business.
This is possible by studying books about leadership and managing strategies as well case studies of successful businesses that have been around for decades.
This way, you'll be able to draw inspiration from their successes and avoid common pitfalls they fell into.
You can also look at examples of businesses which have been bankrupt. Why did they fail. Are there any common themes among these failures? These insights can help to avoid costly mistakes.
Finally, you will find information about some of the most famous historical figures, such as Abraham Lincoln or John D. Rockefeller. Although they had the most impressive resumes, none of them knew how to manage people or run companies. So if you want to learn from their experiences, you need to find out why they made so many mistakes.
The bottom line is that you can learn from the failures and victories of human experience. Simply spend a few seconds each day reflecting on the successes and failures of the past to find ways to use them today.
What can we learn about Abraham Lincoln?
Abraham Lincoln said that he was slow to learn, but quick to forget.
He knew how important it was to keep learning because he understood that there would come a time when he would need to unlearn old habits and embrace new ones.
The same holds true for our businesses. No matter how much we plan for success in the future, there will always be times when we are unable to move forward and end up stuck in a rut.
It is vital to continually learn and develop new skills. If we do nothing else, we must continue to learn, even after we reach the pinnacle of success.
Lincoln was the right person. He knew that he could improve his business' effectiveness, but he couldn’t stop learning.
There are two types entrepreneur. There are two types of entrepreneurs: those who keep busy and those who stay sharp.
People who are always busy work solely to grow their businesses. They spend their time on product development and marketing, as well as customer service.
They may feel like they've accomplished something meaningful, but often they're missing the mark. If these entrepreneurs don't focus on being smarter, they will not be able achieve sustainable growth.
What separates successful entrepreneurs from average ones? You are able to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
Successful entrepreneurs are always looking for ways to improve the products and services they offer when faced with difficulties.
Average entrepreneurs, on the other hand, stick to old methods that don't work anymore. They won't change until their business is destroyed.
For success, you need to be skilled in both adaptation and self-reflection.
What are three things you can learn from history?
There are many examples in history of how we can learn from our failures. They can be applied to current business challenges, and transformed into opportunities for growth.
We have learned from the past that there are always other ways to do things. There's always someone out there that thinks outside the box, and takes risks that make him or her stand out.
History also shows us that it's often the underdogs who succeed. When you feel overwhelmed, stuck or lost, think back to the times when they won.
Take a look back at the past to learn from it and make improvements for the future. Learn from the failures and successes of others.
These lessons can help increase your success rates.

How did marketing history turn into propaganda?
The term "propaganda," which was first used in 1879 by Max Weber, a German sociologist, was derived from the Greek word Praopagos which means "to communicate well". The Latin verb propaganda, which can be translated as "nearby", or "at hand," and its noun "agogos, which can translate to "speech" or discourse, are the sources of the word. It's a "systematic attempt to influence attitudes and behavior."
George Orwell, British journalist and author of "Propaganda," wrote that propaganda was not intended to convince people to believe anything. He only wanted to change their beliefs...
Edward Bernays (1891 –1955) was Sigmund Freud’s nephew. In 1922, he coined the term "public Relations". He believed that "the conscious, intelligent manipulation of organized habits and opinions is an important component of a democratic country." He created the public relations firm Bernays & Company in 1927. He worked there until 1955.
Bernays created an "engineering consent” technique that influenced public opinion via advertising and publicity campaigns from the 1920s through the 1950s. His methods were later adopted in mass media such as Time Magazines, CBS News and NBC News. Bernays started working closely with government agencies and corporations after World War II. Johnson & Johnson (General Electric), Procter & Gamble; Coca-Cola; Ford Motor Company; U.S. Department of Defense; American Tobacco Company; DuPont, Rayonier and the United States Chamber of Commerce were just a few of his clients.
The tobacco industry was his most prominent client. Philip Morris was his most notable client. He developed a campaign against tobacco smoking in 1939. This campaign was recommended by the Surgeon general. In 1965, the Cigarette Advertising Act was adopted. This bans any cigarette advertisement in print media such as newspapers and television.
He also advised President Franklin D Roosevelt on how to deal with the growing labor movement during the Great Depression. Bernays suggested that President Franklin D Roosevelt declare a “war on hunger” and use the federal governments power to ensure sufficient food supplies. This strategy helped the president win reelection in 1936 by making the government appear benevolent and fatherly.
Bernays began to promote the idea that radio listening could increase radio sales as radio popularity grew. In the 1930s, Bernays introduced the concepts of "branding", and "advertising". He believed that consumers could be influenced by appealing to their emotional side and making them feel special. He promoted the slogan "Have it all!" He encouraged women to buy war bonds in 1933.
He established a political action group called "Young People for Freedom" back in 1944. This group was created to encourage Americans between the ages of 18 and 30 to vote Republican. Dwight Eisenhower won in 1952, thanks to Bernays’ efforts.
Bernays convinced the CIA to stage a coup against Iran in 1953. Shah Reza Pahlevi replaced Mohammad Mosaddegh. This was necessary to stop Mosaddegh nationalizing Iranian oil fields. Bernays wrote articles extolling the new regime in praise after the coup.
Bernays was the recipient of many other awards over his entire career.
