For example, let's say you want to buy a house. You could wait and see if someone gives you Home Depot gift certificates. You could also ask yourself "What would you love to do?" Find a job that will allow you to do it. Apply for financing.
Let's pretend you want to travel all over the globe. The question you might be asking yourself is "Where do I want go?" The next step is to start saving money, research countries online, talk with friends, etc. The final step is to book a flight.
Let's suppose you don't know what you want. If that were the case, you would probably do one of those things anyway. This is how you can increase your chances for getting what you want. Although it may sound silly, it is effective.
The third lesson is that you can always improve your future no matter what happens. The reason is simple. Our choices impact who we become and who we are.
It is important to take inspiration from past experiences, learn from mistakes and succeed until you are successful.
If you don’t feel you have any value to the world, you are already behind. You have to believe that you're better than you thought you were.
Start with what you already know. Start small, and work your way up. Look back at the things you've done throughout your lifetime. What have you failed to do? What have you succeeded at? How did you overcome your obstacles?
Last but not least, remember that no one can stop you from reaching your full potential. You can accomplish anything, no matter what anyone tells you.

We've been to this place before and will likely return. But there's nothing wrong with learning from history. It might even help humanity survive another crisis.
If we keep an open mind and look for lessons to guide us forward, we may make it out alive.
Problem is when we don't learn from the mistakes of the past and deny that the human nature hasn’t changed much since the beginning.
There is much wisdom in the old ways but we tend ignore them because they don't fit with our beliefs. We choose to stay stuck with the things we know, rather than embrace changes we find hard.
But the world keeps changing, and the way we live together constantly evolves. Our environment is becoming more complex, and we face more problems to solve.
That means we need to change too. And that makes us vulnerable to failure because we won't be able to rely on the same strategies that worked before.
If we do this, we lose sight and succumb to our habits.
Our brains have evolved to adapt to environments that were thousands of years old. But those days aren't gone forever.
The future isn't written in stone. There's still room for improvement.
Humans can still accomplish great feats. We can create amazing technologies. To discover new frontiers and explore uncharted territories.
We often limit ourselves. To fear change. To reject evolution. To believe that what worked yesterday will work tomorrow.
Some people attempt to stop this trend. These people see themselves as fighters against the status-quo. Fight against the establishment. Oppose the system.
