Brand new series in which historian Bettany Hughes presents a unique and visually stunning look at Britain's past by taking to the air in a bid to unlock secrets hidden in the landscape. She is joined by co-presenter Ben Robinson, as together they attempt to piece together evidence visible from the air with clues on the ground to try and solve some fascinating mysteries and reveal lesser-known facts about Britain's history. In the first episode, they visit the windswept cliffs of the Cornish coast and a castle at the heart of Arthurian legend. Tintagel Castle is said to be the site where King Arthur was conceived, but amongst the tales of magicians, dragons and swords in the stone, is there any truth in the legend?
