How did propaganda become marketing success?

The term "propaganda" was first used in 1879 when German sociologist Max Weber coined the word from the Greek word "praopagos" which means "to speak well." The Latin verb propaganda, which means "nearby" or at hand, and the noun "agogos," which means "speech or speech," is the source of the word.
