Firm raises $15 million dollars to bring wooly mammoth back from extinction. It's common knowledge that once an animal becomes extinct, it is gone forever from the face of the earth. However, an American firm has set out to change that fact. The company’s founders are Ben Lamm, and Harvard Medical School geneticist George Church, and the pair hope that their research funding will create a mammoth-elephant hybrid.
