Winthrop Kellogg, an American comparative psychologist, raised a chimpanzee named Gua alongside their infant son Donaldf. The study was to try and raise the chimpanzee as though she were a human child. The experiment didn't go to plan as Gua didn't pick up any form of language, however Donald started to imitate the chimpanzee's vocalizations.
