The story of Amanda Knox was tabloid gold. She was the angel-faced American girl who brutally murdered her British roommate in 2007. But after eight years the truth finally surfaced. Around the world Amanda was known as a sex-obsessed murderess and a vicious killer with the face of an angel. In a trial that captivated the world, she was found guilty and sentenced to 26 years in jail. But Amanda Knox never killed anyone. In 2015, the Italian Supreme Court finally declared her completely innocent. With contributions from the prosecutor who saw Knox convicted and also from the judge who freed her on appeal, this film explores the circumstances that lead to an innocent young woman spending four years in jail and being demonised by the world's media.
