The late actor passed away in 1955 when he was 24 years old and driving in California. He was in a Porsche 550 Spyder and collided with a 1950 Ford Tudor which was driven by a Navy veteran. The car went on to be sold for $5,335,000 at an auction, as it was sought after by many high-end collectors.
