The very name of King Arthur conjures up images of a dark forgotten time, a time of legends when one man strove to bring peace to a land torn apart by warfare and intrigue. It is because of the enduring nature of the Arthur legend that the search continues to this day for the true identity of the man behind the myth. In this edition of Time Travels Bryan McNerney embarks on a voyage back into the Dark Ages, when the West Country was put under siege by Barbarian hordes from the East. In the course of his journey Bryan witnesses the horror of man to man combat, uncovers the site of a legendary battleground, and reveals the identity of the man who would be King.
