The four daughters of Tsar Nikolai II of Russia and Tsarina Alexandra Feodrovna were born to a couple who ruled 1/6th of the world. Olga was bright and temperamental; Tatiana outgoing and creative; Maria affectionate and fretful and Anastasia charming and a born trouble maker. They grew up in palaces and their devoted and overprotective parents kept them naive of the wider world. We’ll follow the four Romanov daughters as they try to smile through the Russian Revolution, their father’s forced abdication and their stiffly house arrest. We’ll see how they met their tragic fate, follow the decades of rumors surrounding their possible escape and meet Anna Anderson and a few of the people who claimed to be one of the children who had alluded doom.
